Club Officers
Mission
We the members of the Classic Cruisers of Southwest Central Indiana, sharing common interests as automotive enthusiasts, hereby submit our "Mission Statement." It shall be our purpose to further the exchange of information and cooperation among members, to promote automotive knowledge and fraternalism, and to conduct club programs and activities to advance the general interest and welfare of automotive enthusiasts in our nearby communities.
Club History
Our first organizational meeting was conducted on February 21, 1993, at the Linton McDonald's. At the next meeting, on March 21, 1993, we chose our name "Classic Cruisers," with our second choice of "Happy Days Cruisers." On August 18, 1993, we started the process of formulating our "Bylaws & Constitution" with five volunteers. On September 22, 1993, we conducted our first committee meeting for the Bylaws & Constitution, which we finalized at the December 15, 1993 meeting. We then nominated and elected our first club officers: President, Don Rogers; Vice President, Bob Evans; and Secretary-Treasurer, Gary Howell. Secretary-Treasurer was later separated into two parts.
